Analysis – Where is The Love
By
: Black Eyed Peas
Where is the love is a song of group
Americans called black eyed peas, with their personnel are William Adams
(will.i.am) as a piano player since 1995, Allan Pineda (apl.de.ap) as a drummer
since 1995, Taboo as a player for vinyl since 1995, and Fergie as a vocal since
2003. This song is the first single hits worldwide in Elephunk album, after
they vacuum. Collaborate with Justin Timberlake. This lyrical song in 2003,
inspired by the twin towers World Trade Center (WTC) of the attack on September
11, 2001.
With this song Black Eyed Peas are
trying to convey to people what is really happening to this world? Where is the
love? Where is the love for this country? Why this world is like a child who
does not have a mother? As if the world is already very alarming, very
depressing. Many terrorist, gangs and mafia live and do as the wish. They kill
and injure children. No one concerned with their tears. No one concerned with
their shrieks. Many people are just busy making money and busy on their own
interest.
Though this song contains a sense of
the concerns, the lack of peace and injustice people towards each other. But
the track is extremely interesting to listen to. The music of the song is fun
and not boring, so that makes us do not realize before that the song contains
the meaning of a state that may be in it had been conflicts between residents.
Therefore with this song Black Eyed
Peas has alerted us to care for fellow human beings, without us having to
discriminate ethnicity, religion, race, and country. Requires us t6o always
care for anything and everything in the world.
